Just Create

Putting your work out there is scary. It’s not terrifying — just scary enough to serve as a restraint. It’s a small thing, but it stops so many interesting ideas dead in their tracks.
I think everyone shares this little fear. Most people never overcome it. They tell themselves they’re not creative and stop trying.
But it’s impossible to create something great without creating a bunch of crap first. Most people never reach the point where they create greatness — the prospect of producing crap is too unpleasant.
Some people are better at ignoring it. They’re the creators. Everyone else lines up to see their shows, use their products, watch their films, and celebrate the risk the creators take for the rest of us.
